NAVY EXAMPLE & TEMPLATE
Navy Enclosure List Example
An enclosure list should make the package easier to audit. Each enclosure label should correspond to an actual item and the body should refer to it consistently.

Example enclosure logic
- Number enclosures in a clear sequence
- Use concise identifying descriptions
- Make sure every listed enclosure is actually attached
- Match enclosure references in the body
- Remove stale enclosure lines when attachments change
Package control matters
The most common enclosure problem is not typography—it is a mismatch between the document and what was actually routed. Check the final package before signature.
Repair copied enclosure blocks
If a copied letter has misaligned enclosure lines or stale numbering, Check Document can rebuild the DOCX, but you still need to verify the actual attachments.
